Your answers to the 28 behavioural items and the 5 safety items, the eight scores computed from them, the archetype, and the details you gave about your dog: name, age band, size, breed type, where they came from, how long you have had them, type of home, and whether there are children or other animals. Every one of those is read by the report; we stopped asking for anything that was not.

If you buy the report, we also store the email address Paddle collects at checkout, and the Paddle transaction identifier.

If you ask for the profile by email from the result page, we store that address, the code of the profile concerned, the language, and, if you ticked the box, the exact sentence you agreed to and the date. That request is optional: the free result is complete without it.

We do not ask for your name, your postal address, or your telephone number, and there is no account to create.

To produce your report and let you find it again with your code. To let you compare two dogs. To compute, once there are enough profiles, where a dog sits relative to the others.

The email address is kept so we can send you the report follow up programme planned for a later version. Legal basis: performance of the contract for the report, and legitimate interest for the anonymous statistics.

Profiles are kept for three years from the date of the test, so that your code keeps working. Payment records are kept for ten years as required by accounting law.

Supabase Inc. hosts the database. Vercel Inc. hosts the site. Paddle.com Market Ltd. sells the report and takes the payment. Resend, Inc. delivers the email we send you.

If, and only if, you accepted measurement cookies, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and TikTok Technology Ltd. receive advertising events. Those events carry no dog details and no answers.

Nothing is sold or passed to anybody else.

The site sets no advertising cookie before you accept one. Declining changes nothing about how the test works.

Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed at any time by clearing the site data.

You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by writing to contact@mydogtype.com with your code. Deletion is carried out within thirty days.

If you live in the European Union, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence.
